Independent Reviewing Officer
Location: Wakefield
Rate: £40
An opportunity has risen for an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join the Safeguarding and reviewing Unit in Wakefield.
The Safeguarding and Review Unit has an experienced and knowledgeable team of professionals that chair Child Protection Conferences, Child in Care Reviews, LADO, Supervision Order reviews and Foster Carer Reviews within Wakefield.
The service works closely with internal and external partners to support the achievement of positive outcomes for children and young people in their journey through statutory services in Wakefield.
As a team they are working to develop a culture of restorative practice both within the team and with the families they work with.
This is an opportunity to influence Social Work practice through supportive links with teams and collaborative quality assurance and audit work with Social Workers.
