Child Protection Chair based in Wakefield, offered at £40 umbrella. This is a full-time, office-based position, and it is essential that all submitted candidates are able to fully commit to working on-site.
Key Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years post-qualifying experience in social work with children and families.
• Proven experience in chairing meetings involving children and families.
• Sufficient and relevant experience in children’s social care to confidently undertake the responsibilities of the role.

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.

• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
• Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
