We are seeking an experienced Team Manager within our Integrated Front Door Team.

Working Arrangements: Agile – 3 day minimum in the office

Hours per week: 37

Base: Wombwell Police Station, Barnsley.

To provide effective leadership, management and direction to a range of staff within a children’s social
care multi-agency social work context. Ensure through direct oversight/supervision and delegation that
case allocation, assessment, care planning, delivery and review of services is achieving consistently
above published standards and guidelines. Promote social work practice and outcomes for children,
young people and their families which are in accordance with best practice guidelines, social care policy
and legislative requirements

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
• Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
• Possess knowledge of service needs.
• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
• Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
