Details:
Blackburn with Darwen Children’s Services who have recently been graded ‘good’ in its full ILACS Ofsted inspection, require a full time agency social worker to cover in its Safeguarding and Support service as soon as possible.

The candidate will have at least 3 years post qualification experience in Safeguarding/CP/Court work.

The candidate must have a SWE registration and be a car driver, with previous experience of the use of Protocol Liquid Logic an advantage but not essential.

You must have good communication skills and be a team worker with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

There will be both office-based working and home working arrangements as per the service requirements so you will be required to work flexibly and with a requirement to be office based 3 days per week as a minimum.

• Social Work England registration

• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
