LDA community social work team,
12 week SW placement for agency worker within the Learning Disability and Autism Team. The role is countywide.
Focus on reassessment work
Mainly home working, there is office space available as and when required. Expectation to be in a office, a couple of days a month, but this is flexible.
This is an opportunity to join a newly formed team within Shropshire. You will be working alongside colleagues including Social Workers, Social Care Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and Health Colleagues.
You will be undertaking assessments and care act responsibilities within a county wide team, working with individuals with a learning disability and autism. You will also contribute to the Multi Agency Protection for Vulnerable Adults procedures and the investigation process.
Each member of staff will receive an induction to provide basic knowledge of the job. Ongoing training will be offered through in house training pathways or attendance at external courses as individual needs are identified.
