The advanced practitioner will be based within the court & locality service in the South locality, based in Wythenshawe. The candidate should be an experienced social worker with experience in court proceedings, child protection, child in need and pre-proceedings work. The candidate will join a team of 4 social workers and 1 other advanced practitioner led by an experienced team manager. The candidate will hold a caseload of up 17 cases and offer support and mentoring to the social workers on the team as well as support to the team manager.

The candidate will receive a clear induction, IT equipment, ICT training and ongoing support and training. They will receive regular formal supervision on a monthly basis as well as regular informal supervision. They will be joining a friendly, supportive team who are focussed on achieving the best outcomes for our children.

The working hours are 35 per week. Car parking is free. The candidate will hold a UK driving licence and have access to a car to support them in undertaking their role.
