Ashberry Recruitment represent hundreds of experienced Residential Support Workers across the North for casual, ad-hoc and temporary work with our specialist social care clients.
Presently we are keen to identify new staff to supplement our current team of amazing support workers and are particularly interested in candidates who wish to work on a waking night basis, with children and young people residing in the care system and those in their transition to independent living, across the Leeds & West Yorkshire area.
Waking Night Support Workers are employed to work through the night, this work is not ‘sleeps’. Shifts are often lone working with some of the most ‘at risk’ young people in our society, making regular observations on children who may be prone to self-harm or going missing from home.
Waking Night Support Workers will be expected to be extremely vigilant, experienced at making records and in a ‘settled’ environment, willing and able to complete domestic task throughout the night.
We are looking for candidates with experience of working within a children’s home and/or leaving care environment on waking nights. An NVQL3 Residential Child Care qualification would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
Our bank workers are dependable, reliable and committed. We need workers who can be available at short notice, across 7 days to include weekends and bank holidays. Ideally with their own transport, and business insurance is desirable.
Ashberry offer very competitive rates of pay, complying with Agency Worker Regulations and an incomparable customer service. Candidates are kept busy, looked after and paid in a timely manner.
Immediate work is available on successful completion of pre-employment checks so please get in touch ASAP if you’re interested. We can’t wait to hear from you!
