Deployment Manager

Skipton, North Yorkshire, UK Permanent, Full Time £30000 - £35000 per annum

Ashberry Recruitment are looking for a Deployment Manager for our Skipton based client. The successful candidate will report to the Finance and Operations Director and will have the primary responsibility to lead customers through the Product Deployment Process.

Main Purpose

  • Manage and grow the customer relationship as part of the Software Deployment Process
  • Manage all aspects of the commercial deployment of products into customer facilities across various industrial sectors

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

  • Manage Product Deployments in a team-orientated environment
  • Create, communicate, and execute Product Deployment Plans and Schedules within budget and meeting deadlines
  • Arrange and organise project meetings with customers documenting meeting minutes and actions.
  • Lead the customer through the Product Deployment Process of planning, design, testing, and release for user acceptance validation
  • Map and document customer processes and requirements with a view to understand how Products can meet their needs
  • Intermediate between the customer and the Software Development Team ensuring the customer requirements are achieved
  • Ensuring that the deployment activities are compliant with the customer’s regulatory requirements.
  • Frequent travel to customer sites (local and international) executing Product Deployments
  • Provide product demonstrations and expert consultation to potential customers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of product capabilities and articulate proper use of the functionality.
  • Build professional and enduring relationships with colleagues and external business partners
  • Respond quickly to change.
  • Take control to do whatever it takes to get the job done in working to achieve a common vision
  • Identify solutions for removing obstacles towards great performance
  • Perform other duties as and when required and always act in the best interest of the company.

Key Person Specifications

  • Degree qualification (preferably in a science discipline) or equivalent experience
  • Excellent all-round IT skills
  • Understanding of laboratory regulations (GxP, UKAS, ISO) is desirable
  • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail who demonstrates initiative to follow through on tasks and improvements unsupervised, but knows when to ask for support
  • Experience in project management and a good understanding of quality management systems is desirable
  • A professional and trustworthy individual with drive and passion to complete work within tight deadlines
  • Good communicator who is capable of fostering long-term working relationships
  • Demonstrates passion, persistence, self-belief, focus, drive and determination
  • Results driven, customer focussed and hard working
  • Driver’s licence is required
