Ashberry Recruitment are recruiting for a Prison Group Work Facilitator to work in the Greater Manchester Area.
This is front facing role, supporting the Peer and Volunteer programme within the prison. We are looking for a pro-active, engaging candidate, who can empower clients within the prison to make decisions and take action for themselves.
As a Group Work Facilitator you will be responsible for the following:
Managing the programme run in the prison, enabling the service to deliver structured, accredited and practical workshops on topics such as Employability and Money Management i.e. CV writing, interview skills, debt advice, budget planning.
Working in partnership with Resettlement workers to ensure the material taught is accurate and that up to date with legislative changes and is addressing the needs of the service.
Ensuring that all the training material is accessible to all regardless of literacy issues, impaired vision or language.
Recruiting, training and mentoring of Peers in custody, enabling them to achieve an accredited Peer Mentoring qualification.
Working alongside Resettlement workers to ensure an inclusive client focused service, delivering Resettlement planning and Pre-Release interventions.
Reviewing and evaluating the services, to reach KPI’s, reporting programme outcomes to the TR Contract Manager, in order to ensure continuous improvement.
