Head of Sales and Events Manager

Skipton, North Yorkshire, UK Permanent, Full Time £30000 - £50000 per annum

Ashberry Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and energetic Head of Sales and Events Manager to help us drive and expand our clients Hospitality Partnerships. You will be the forefront of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy in relation to all Hospitality Sales.

You will be the driving force at the very forefront of Business Development, at a new and exciting juncture for our client. With the recent opening of a new part of the business, our client is entering an exciting emerging market in the space of Wellbeing and Personal Transformation.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Education and building awareness in the field of Wellbeing will also play a key part of this role. This is a senior, management level role and requires someone extremely proactive, with the ability to find leads and convert them into sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Conduct all business meetings and show arounds with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare sales contracts and Terms & Conditions, ensuring adherence to legal rules and guidelines
  • Maintain detailed sales data & analysis
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Responsible for the success of the Sales & Business Development team
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager or Senior Sales Executive
  • Demonstrable sales track record
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience of CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) advantageous, but not essential
  • Strong market knowledge in the field of Luxury Accommodation, Wellbeing and Corporate Hospitality would be advantageous
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport
  • BA/BSc in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field advantageous, but not essential
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
