Tameside are in need of a CP Chair/IRO

Tameside are either looking for 1 full time candidate that can do both roles OR 1x Part time IRO and 1x part time CP Chair (roughly 18 hours)

Responsibilities and Key Skills

Chairing CP conferences and looked after Children Reviews

Charing recording CFC reviews, obtaining voice of child, working alongside partner agencies, overseeing care plans and challenges any areas of concern, chairing initial and reviewing CP conferences, gathering view and making decisions and formulating plans maintaining records, potential audits, child focussed and wanting to achieve the best outcome

Contact length: 3 months – with potential to extend

Office based- needs to expect to be mainly office based with some working from home opportunities

This is for a conference chair/IRO

We would like 2 part time workers, one CP chair, one IRO

If not successful with that we will have to try for a full time worker that does both

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.

• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
