Junior Account Manager

Ashberry Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an analytical, outgoing, intelligent and ambitious person to work as a Junior Account Manager, in a dynamic growing company.

Job Purpose

To be an integral part of the compliance team supporting with the completion of administrative tasks whilst delivering a high level of customer service (in line with the customer service policy) to existing customers ensuring a positive retention record is maintained and building strong customer relations.  Full induction and training program in place and there are excellent opportunities and support for candidates with the right competencies. Key Role Responsibilities (there are more!)

  • Account Management of small producer compliance members
  • Chasing and processing data
  • Data verification checks for own accounts
  • Data resubmissions for own accounts
  • Processing amendments to customer details
  • Admin support with member and supplier audits e.g. booking in, risk profiling
  • First point of call for the telephones
  • Back-up to waste collections
  • 2nd checking waste collections paperwork
  • Chasing waste collections paperwork
  • Chasing survey responses
  • Updating company databases as required
  • One-off project support as required
  • Compliance second checks, as required
  • General housekeeping – filing, keeping stationery cupboards in order, keeping the basement tidy

The Person 

Educated to A-level or equivalent, you will have strong MS Excel skills and have a strong focus on customer service.  You will work well in a team with a ‘muck in’ approach being flexible and open to change when business demands require. You must have a strong work ethic working well under pressure with excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.  A wicked sense of humour is a bonus too!
