Colne, Lancashire, UK Temporary, Full Time £17864 - £17864 per annum

Ashberry Recruitment are looking for an experienced PA to join our well-respected client based in Colne. The role is an on-going temporary role with a view to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To provide a confidential and high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Principal including:
  • Providing a point of contact for parents/carers and external agencies wishing to speak with the Principal
  • Acting as the school Complaints Coordinator
  • Overseeing the hospitality for the Principal’s guests and visitors
  • Taking notes and administering external and internal meetings and events as required
  • Providing general administrative support for the Principal as requested
  1. To book and maintain up to date records for CPD, booking staff CPD courses
  2. To assist in the keeping and maintenance of confidential staff files
  3. To publish up to date information for staff, students and parents including internal contact details and the Academy calendar
  4. To administer the exclusions process and data
  5. To administer for the Governors as required
  6. To produce letters to parents as per the Behaviour Management System
  7. To administer for Educational Visits and keep up to date with current practice

Person Specification

Qualifications and Attainments                                                  

  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above

Training, Experience and Knowledge                                              

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Experience of providing outstanding administrative support
  • Experience of working in a team
  • Experience of using initiative and making decisions          
  • Experience of providing PA/secretarial support (Desirable)
  • Experience of working in the Education Sector (Desirable)
  • Experience of handling confidential information (Desirable)

Salary 

£21,166 – The role is term time therefore will be pro rata at 43.89 weeks (£17,864)
