Quality Manager

Ashberry Recruitment are looking for a Quality Manager for our client based in the Accrington area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and running of all the quality systems. (BSEN approved)

Role and Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of and implement any changes in standards
• Ensure quarterly quality meetings are up to date
• Ensure they remain approved via annual external quality audit, liaising with the Managing Director and Sales and Production Managers
• Hands-on daily quality checks
• Discussions with suppliers and customers on quality issues
• Responsible for maintenance of the quality system based in the factory (this will require trips to Ireland, a couple of days at a time, approximately 3 times a year)
• Responsible for overseeing the goods in/dispatch department on a daily basis
• Knowledge on quality systems is essential with hands on experience (Not just theoretical)

Hours of work

• Monday – Thursday – 08:00am – 16:30pm
• Friday – 08:00am – 15:30pm
