Sales and Marketing Administration Assistant

Skipton, North Yorkshire, UK Permanent, Full Time £17000 - £18137 per annum

Ashberry Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic individual looking to contribute to a successful, dynamic, growing company as an Administration Assistant working within the Sales and Marketing team.

You will provide support across all business operations by completing a variety of administrative tasks, working hours are 9am – 5pm.

Key Role Responsibilities (there are more!)

  • Completing various work-flow processes line with internal checklists
  • Filing
  • Chasing data and other information from customers and suppliers
  • Updating company databases
  • Identifying opportunities and cross-sell all services to existing members
  • Create networking and event plans for the sales team – research attendee companies and identify where opportunities will be found
  • Researching new business prospects
  • Managing the online chat function
  • Processing sales for small new business accounts
  • Carrying out industry segmentation for prospects
  • Creating sales/promotional packs for the sales team
  • Setting and confirming appointments for the sales team
  • Support with marketing campaigns
  • Supporting with key marketing tasks e.g. development of artwork, the webinar process, updating website content, market research, eshots, proof-reading
  • Working alongside the Marketing Co-Ordinator to plan and execute weekly social media posts
  • Organisation and logistics administration for waste collections
  • Chasing survey responses

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Fully adept with Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible, resilient, and adaptable to changes in work priorities
  • Highly organised and conscientious approach
  • Positive, enthusiastic outlook
  • Team orientated with a ‘muck in’ approach
  • Quick to learn
  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent standard or above, with a minimum of grade C GCSE in English and Mathematics
  • A wicked sense of humour
