The Role
Family Help Team Manager within our newly established Family Help Service.

To manage and maintain oversight of a Locality based Family Help team including direct line management of the staff.

To provide additional support and coordination of the Early Help Access Point to ensure a clear direction for early help processes across the borough; supporting referrals that require targeted early help and efficiently navigate these cases through the early help pathways to ensure children, young people and families receive the right level of support in a timely manner.

The post holder will manage services and resources across a team ensuring Family Hub and targeted intervention programme plans are coordinated and meet the needs of the community.

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.

• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
