Transport/Haulage Manager

Ashberry Recruitment are working very closely with a respected client based in Skipton, to find an experienced Transport/Haulage Manager.

The successful candidate will have a sales background as liaising with new and existing clients is required. The successful candidate will have knowledge of aggregates or is familiar with quarries. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Day to day planning of Tipper Wagons and Tankers
• Managing drivers
• Sourcing work from new and existing clients
• Managing the workshop to keep on top of maintenance

Experience

• Transport Manager (Ideally)
• CPC holder is useful and familiar with Tachomaster system, however training can be given
• Knowledge of Aggregates 
• Knowledge of quarries 
• Construction background would be ideal 

Salary – £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
