Inside work

After 11 years in the motor trade, I was on the look out for a new challenge. A chance conversation between Kate and my mother-in-law, led to Kate calling me, which in turn led to my interview with Kate and Jennifer, and the rest as they say is history. I have been taken on to cover Housing in the Merseyside area, which is exciting but full of challenges. The more I learn, the more I realise there is to learn but so far, I’m enjoying everything the job throws at me. Thankfully, the more experienced members of the Ashberry team don’t mind me peppering them with questions (or if they do, they’re doing a good job of keeping smiles on their faces).

Outside work

Outside of work, my 2 young daughters keep me on my toes and have meant that all my hobbies have fallen by the wayside. After a day of chasing them around, watching Peppa Pig on loop, battling to get them to eat something they should (rather than anything they shouldn’t), all I want to do is collapse on the sofa!
