Our client, a large, well known and hugely respected residential childcare provider are looking to appoint a motivated and knowledgeable Residential Child Care Worker to join their team within their specialist children’s home in the Congleton area.
As a Residential Childcare Worker you will be committed to providing a positive and stable environment for the children within your care. We are looking for experienced, professional individuals dedicated to enriching and making a positive difference to the lives of these vulnerable young people.
Successful applicants will have experience of working within a children’s home and supporting young people who present with emotional and behavioural difficulties, including young offenders and those presenting with harmful sexualised behaviours.
Residential Child Care Workers must be resilient and approachable for work with these youngsters who can be both verbally, physically and mentally challenging as a result of their often traumatic life experiences.
An NVQL3 Residential Child Care qualification is preferable, as is a driving licence and potential candidates will be subject to a vigorous screening process including references and enhanced DBS checks.
There are temporary and permanent, part and full time roles available and shifts are a mixture of early, late, long day and sleep shifts across 7 days. Both candidates looking for work via the agency or immediate direct employment will be considered.
